Your Opportunity:

In the Demand and Supply planning team based in Milan, you'll be providing analytics to support the function. You'll be responsible for maintaining tools, data flows, and data quality, ensuring reliable information for Demand and Inventory Planning. You'll also prepare and maintain materials to help with research and discussions between different areas. Lastly, you'll coordinate project activities in the area, acting as a liaison with IT and the team.

Your Contribution:

  • Maintain and improve the Demand & Supply and Distribution Planning tools ensuring data quality and consistency;
  • Load and maintain relevant data in the systems: historical sales, stock OH, open orders, MDQ, MOQ;
  • Partner with other team members and managers in framing operational problems, conduct mathematical/statistical analysis of exiting operational processes, and validate data-driven solution alternatives;
  • Participate in multi-area AI projects with other data scientists and develop new AI-driven models for forecasting and buying new products;
  • Develop and maintain relevant reports/dashboard/KPI’s pertaining to Demand and Inventory planning processes;
  • Develop, support and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer data science (Big Data, Analytics and Machine Learning) or related subjects;
  • Knowledge of programming language like SQL, Python, R;
  • Knowledge of MS Access, Excel and database applications, PowerBI a plus;
  • Excellent verbal and written English;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Strong accountability, with the ability to work effectively within a team;
  • Experience in Management/Operational consulting and Fashion/Retail companies as a plus.
