Product Analyst - Data validation testing - Team Leader

A Product analyst would lead conversations , collaborate and have extensive interactions with business stakeholders, project managers and team members. Should possess strong problem solving and reasoning skills as the business problems, may sometime not be clear without the right knowledge and probing. 

You will also be required to perform testing on the developed solutions; these solutions would be either or a blend of analytical solutions, automation, reporting and/or other database migrations. Some of the key requirements are to create test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures, as well as testing the codes designed.

In-depth understanding of banking product is good to have. The role will offer an opportunity to dig deeper and enhance your banking product understanding and knowledge about day to day working knowledge of sub-products of the same like Regulatory Operations, KYC Operations, CBO organization etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write Business Requirement Document (BRD) effectively and ensure smooth collaboration with the developers and partners.
• Become Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data used in Monitoring reports in order to help guide developers, when required
• Assist in writing use cases for program testing and perform root cause analysis for issues identified in testing and vetting
• Manage the Evergreen Process to ensure our reports stay current
• Effectively communicate with Stakeholders and Developers on the issues identified
• Perform testing of the developed solution by following the approved test approach/methods. Also take ownership of the assignment with regards to tracking and see it to closure by being proactive. 
• Perform code to business requirement validation
• Ability to write queries and run frequencies to validate population and output files

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities: 

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or Master’s degree in any of the Quantitative disciplines is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Understanding on banking product.
• Ability to manage business requirements in an effective and organized way, you are required to write Business Requirement Documents in the approved RegOps format.
• Ability to understand and execute the different types of testing. E.g. Functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, etc.
• You should be able to identify problems effectively, systematically frame the problem, then leverage tools and knowledge to identify multiple potential solutions and select the most feasible solution
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to different audience levels
• Prior business requirements, procedures and documentation experience preferred
• Prior Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing experience preferred, Agile experience preferred
• Knowledge and hands-on minimum one of the key tools/skillset required (Alteryx, SAS/SQL, Tableau, Python, AWS, ML and Data Analytics)
