Objectives


A primary responsibility of this position is to execute standardized technical processes and management of the data architecture for the modular data, along with development and maintenance of modular technology for the automation of relays.  Additionally, this position will know how to utilize and leverage technology and be a subject matter expert in modular database, planogram automation and data visualization to enable efficient modular processes and analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modular Technology and Automation for Relays
  • Planogram automation functionality development, 3rd party collaboration on development needs, testing and validation of new tools and processes, and category team support
  • Assortment optimization modeling tool parameters and inputs support for the category teams
  • 3rd party modular technology support ticketing, coordination, and resolution management
  • ProSpace settings, connections, and standard operating procedures governance
  • General relay related issues troubleshooting, ad hoc requests and support for all pre-draw, draw, pre-submission and submission category team processes
  • Supporting category team on trait process, modular data related data streams and technologies
  • Supporting Category Data Visualization Portfolio - Development & Enhancements
  • Development and deployment of new category team BI, advanced or predictive analytics automation tools leveraging SQL or other programming languages, and necessary data visualization of these
  • Collaboration with category team on category strategic business intelligence projects and development of advanced and predictive analytics on an ad hoc basis as well as to launch new ongoing capabilities
  • Support category data feeds and data streams from and to related technologies

 

Key Experiences

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Technology or Computer Science preferred (relevant technical expertise and alternate degree program considered in lieu of IS/IT/CS degree)

• Previous experience with a category advisor team, planogram automation and technology, or technical role is preferred

• Experience with ProSpace, CKB, Planogram Automation is a plus

• Expectation is to create business continuity related to modular technology and automation processes

• Advanced database, Excel, and related skills

• Programming languages, especially SQL

• Understanding how to leverage the ProSpace and related tools like SQL and CKB to enable automation and team efficiency is a plus

• Expectation is to create business continuity related to business intelligence through data visualization

 

Technical Skills

• SQL / TSQL

• MS Tools, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint, etc

• CKB, POG Generator or POG automation

• JDA Space Planning (ProSpace)

• Proficiency in any programming language a plus

• Shiloh, or other similar DSR or database type tool a plus

• Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx or KNIME a plus

• Experience with category advisor related technologies a plus
