Data Analyst / Data Engineer

Keystone Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Analyst/Data Engineer to join our consultancy team and support our client's growing maturity in data management, data engineering, and BI reporting. The consultant will work closely with the client to create and document various reports and dashboards (Payment transactions, Accounting, KYC, Logistics, etc.). This role offers the opportunity to engage in both business and functional analysis activities.

Function Description: As a Data Analyst/Data Engineer consultant at Keystone Solutions, you will:

• Efficiently communicate with client business departments to gather, understand, and translate business needs into clear requirements.
• Obtain a comprehensive view of all data sources and data available within the client's environment.
• Identify necessary data to build the required extractions and reporting.
• Collect, integrate, and prepare data securely to produce reusable key data sets.
• Use these key data sets to generate reports and analyses for internal customers and regulatory reporting.
• Create clear documentation on data collection and transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build reports using Salesforce reporting module and/or dashboards via Tableau or Power BI.
• Create insights and storytelling from data.
• Export, merge, and transform data with Power Query when data is not yet integrated, ensuring data security by design.
• Ensure data quality by implementing controls on imported and produced data.
• Discover trends and insights that provide business value.
• Organize and document functional implementations of data integrations and reports.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Fluent (orally and written)
• French: Fluent (orally and written)
• English: Fluent (orally and written) - Mandatory

Required Experience and Knowledge:

• Minimum of 5 years of solid practical experience as a data engineer, leading activities as listed in the function description.
• Solid IT background with expertise in data modeling, data documentation, data collection and transformation, GDPR/data protection, and building robust data structures.
• Previous experience in a BI context, delivering structured data with reusable key data sets, and developing dashboards and reports.
• Familiarity with the do's and don'ts of building deliverables in a BI context.

Technical Experience: Mandatory:

• Experience with IT activities (data models, API, data manipulation, and transformation including documentation).
• Proficiency in Excel (PowerPivot, PowerQuery), and experience with market ETL/ELT tools is an advantage.
• Salesforce reporting/Salesforce analytic Studio.
• Tableau dashboarding.
• Modeling techniques (UML).
• Insight creation and storytelling.
• Scrum (writing good User Stories).

Preferable:

• Thorough practical Salesforce Data model experience is a significant plus.

Business Experience: Mandatory:

• Business Reporting in an Acquiring and Enabling environment (Accounting, Billing, payment transaction, terminal management).
• Storytelling. Preferable:
• Previous experience in organizations where documentation is essential for maintenance and traceability.
• Experience in payment transactions is a plus.

Telework:

• Expectation: 60% on-site (Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday) & 40% homeworking.
