Job Description

Your tasks as Test data Manager:

The Test Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and management of test data to ensure accurate and efficient testing processes. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in data management, test planning, and quality assurance.

• Technical review of the requirements from the departments for the test data
• Proactive communication and coordination of new requirements and participation in the cooperation with the departments/requestors and the team (e.g. creating conditions for the creation of test data...)
• Planning, control of test data provision and validation through the entire process chain and execution of the entire test lifecycle
  • Creation of the requested test data
  • Creation and management of test data in an SQL database
  • Reporting on the use and utilization of test data
  • Ensuring the error-free new employee process of all IT systems involved in the test environments
  • Maintenance of the HR simulator
• License management for test data
• Execution of test procedures (manual or automated)
• Creation and complete documentation of deviations (defects)
• Active tracking of the defects created with active contribution to clarification with the specialist departments
• Analyzing defects in the test environment
• Knowledge documentation (e.g. test processes; instructions...)
• Technical support of scrum master and product owner in the program increment planning of the Service Hub Access4You

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in test data management, quality assurance, or a related role.
• Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and data modelling.
• Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
• Experience with data masking, data anonymization, and data provisioning tools.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experiences with Microservices and API testing
• Communication level English language

Additional Information

Nice to have:

• GERMAN language knowledge
• Experience in Telco sector.
• Proficiency with tools such as Informatica, Delphix, or similar test data management solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Certification in data management or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CDMP).
