Closing Date: 12/07/2024   The Master Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of master data in the SAP ERP system, with a strong knowledge Material in SAP. This role involves managing the master data process to ensure the timely creation, maintenance, and validation of master data records, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization. The Master Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, supply chain, and sales, to ensure the quality and integrity of master data throughout the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the master data process to ensure timely creation, maintenance, and validation of master data records in SAP ERP, with expertise in Material master data.
• Manage the confirmations of Vendor master data.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for master data creation, maintenance, and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their master data needs and ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
• Analyze and correct costing errors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to increase data accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform regular data audits to identify inconsistencies and errors and develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures, including data security and privacy.
• Provide guidance and training to end-users on master data creation and maintenance processes, with a focus on Material master data.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies related to master data management, with a specific focus on Material master data, and leverage those technologies to improve processes.

  Education and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
•  Minimum of 5 years of experience in master data management, with a strong knowledge of Material master data in SAP ERP and EWM.
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP functionality related to master data management, including data models, data elements, and data validation rules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify data-related issues and develop solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
