Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Meta Data Manager to join our newly established Data Management Office to lead the development and implementation of our enterprise Meta Data framework and platform. In this dynamic role, you will be a key player in enhancing enterprise data literacy and ensuring the effective management of metadata across the organization.

In this dynamic role you will:

• Serve as the central point for enterprise Meta Data across GHD. Engage across the business with stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of Enterprise Meta Data Frameworks and Data Management Platform.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure their buy-in and involvement is obtained at key points to support decisions, roll-out, training, and sustainability of Meta Data management in their Business Unit across the data domains.
• Manage the end-to-end Meta Data framework, ensuring the establishment of a robust model for the business to meet their data quality ambitions following the enterprise data quality standards.
• Drive for results and progress of initiatives/projects through influence and collaboration with other business units and teams.
• Oversee the development of Meta Data certification framework, Meta Data dashboards, and scorecards.
• Produce professional and high-quality Meta Data analysis, reports, communication, and presentations as required.

What you will bring to the team:

• Extensive knowledge of Meta Data methodology, technology, and platforms.
• Proven experience in Data Management, can effectively communicate and tell a story through your experience, insights and have a natural ability to influence key stakeholders in a complex organisation.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proactive, professional, and collaborative communication style, ability to lead a high-performing team.
• Commercial awareness, highly organized, self-managing, and motivated.
• Passionate about data management and data quality.
• Have exposure to data quality management and experience of data governance and working within a data office.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Technology, Information Systems, data management, or related field.
• 6+ years of data quality experience in a large and/or global professional services organization.
• Experience of leading a team of Meta Data SMEs.
• Strong experience in the use of metadata tooling, like Ataccama, Informatica, Trillium, Alation, Collibra.
• Experience working on the Cloud with providers such as GCP, MS Azure, and AWS.
