Job Description

What is this position about?   

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a leading organization in the pharmaceutical distribution sector, partnering with a well-established network of pharmacies across the nation. This company is committed to enhancing healthcare accessibility and promoting community well-being through innovative solutions and customer-centric services. 

You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office!  

What will I be doing?   

• Designing and developing robust and scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large volumes of data. 

• Implementing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse. 

• Understand data requirements and ensure timely delivery of reliable data solutions. 

• Optimizing data infrastructure and performance. 

• Design and manage relational and non-relational databases to support data storage. 

• Work with large datasets to perform data cleaning, validation, and analysis. 

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs for data access and manipulation. 

• Plan and execute data migrations between different systems and platforms, including developing and utilizing bash scripts to automate migration processes.  

Qualifications

What expertise do I need?   

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer. 

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.  

• Experience with cloud technologies: AWS preferred.  

• On premise services experience is highly valuable.  

• JavaScript understanding and knowledge.  

• Backend development experience is valued.  

What about languages?   

• Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication is a must!   

How much experience must I have?   

We're looking for someone with +5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
