Job Description

What you will do:

• Consult with clients to understand their business objectives, data assets, and requirements for generative AI applications.

• Win over decision makers at our customers on DataStax as a key component of their generative AI stack.

• Lead with code: demonstrate to AI developers by building demos and providing examples that close deals in the pre-sales phase, and get customers into production with generative AI.

• Elevate other members of the DataStax technical field team through partnering on customer engagements, leading by example, and educating on generative AI best practices.

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers throughout the generative AI application lifecycle.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in generative AI technology.

Your experience should include

• Solid understanding of generative AI techniques in prompt engineering, agent design, and RAG.

• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in generative AI development, such as Python and/or Javascript.

• Familiarity with common generative AI frameworks such as Langchain and Llama Index.

• Experience building production AI products. Have worked on multiple ML or AI projects that went into production (does not have to be generative AI).
