About the role: 

We collaborate with organisations to extract maximum value from their engineering information. Our market-leading Phusion SaaS platform empowers engineers to model, capture, and manage information in a unified, easily accessible format. This enables the efficient execution of projects, smooth operations, and industrial transformation.

As an Engineering Data Analyst, you will process a wide range of client data, preparing it for our project teams. This involves undertaking the first phase of the data cleansing process, where you will review and organise data from various formats, including Excel spreadsheets and Access databases, and load it into our in-house software. Your efforts will be crucial in setting the foundation for project success and operational efficiency.

Here's what the role looks like:

Engineering Data Analysts work for specific projects and led by an experienced Project Manager.  They are required to undertake a wide range of project related activities including:

  • Locating a wide range of equipment related information via the Internet, CD-ROM’s, brochures, client material etc. 
  • Converting electronic information from one format to another.
  • Building hierarchy relationships from process plant, instrument loop and electrical systems.
  • Analysing and processing spare parts information i.e. SPILS, SPURS.
  • Locating technical data from engineering drawings and engineering documents.
  • Building the more complex relationships between data and documents.
  • Cleaning and validating data to ISO standards and client requirements.
  • Raising and solving technical queries.
  • Provide technical support to Engineering Data Assemblers

Requirements

Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:  

  • Strong proficiency in organizing, classifying, and managing extensive volumes of technical data.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with Engineering Data Assemblers to provide comprehensive technical support.
  • Thorough ability to clean, validate, and maintain data integrity to meet ISO standards and client-specific requirements
  • Adaptability to thrive in a predominantly office-based environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement and technical support.
  • Familiarity with database management is advantageous.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Previous experience in an Engineering environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
