Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Product Data Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on data visualization and reporting with the Senior BI Manager and our business insights product. As a Data Analyst for our SaaS platform, you will play a critical role in ensuring high quality and accurate data for analysis and visualization. Your expertise in querying data and presenting it in BI tools will be instrumental in shaping the success of our business insights product.  

Responsibilities: 

• Manage data and procedures within Snowflake, so that the data is ready for ingestion into our BI products. 

• Work with our clients on creating custom dashboards for their business needs. 

• Help migrate our BI tooling by optimizing data flows and building replicas of existing dashboards. 

• Work closely with the Senior BI Manager to transform raw data into meaningful and actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making for our customers.   

• Use SQL to query and manipulate data efficiently, and assist in the design and maintenance of databases and data pipelines.  

• Leverage coding skills to support the implementation of machine learning and regression analysis to predict when certain behaviors by end consumers are likely to take place.  

• Assist Product Management in implementation of A/B testing and other experiments to validate hypotheses and drive data-driven optimizations.  

• On occasion, conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific internal business questions and provide insights that support decision-making.  

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, data engineering tools, and emerging technologies to continually improve the data architecture for our data analysis and reporting processes.  

Qualifications

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. 

• Proven experience in data engineering, ETL processes and machine learning, with a strong ability to derive clear datasets and insights from complex data. 

• Knowledge of data modelling such as linear regression and clustering. 

• Proficiency in SQL and experience querying, manipulating and transforming data within relational databases. 

• Familiarity with data science and analytics languages such as Python, R, Spark, and tools such as Snowflake (Snowpark), Tableau, Power BI, or similar. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements. 

• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and data integrity. 

• Passion for health and fitness is a plus, with an understanding of boutique fitness and wellness concepts.
