Job Description

The Data Foundations team provides critical Data tooling and Data management capabilities for the company.

What you will do:

• Process, validate, transform & enrich data from diverse devices

• Work closely with BI analysts on solving complex business problems

• Communicating with different teams regarding data quality, consistency and availability

• Contribute to system architecture design discussions and improvements

• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure the reliability, efficiency of the data

• Define and optimise data quality, engineering practises and standards

• Act as a mentor for other engineers and share knowledge within the team

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Data Engineer

• Track record of creating pipelines using SQL, Python, Airflow, Dbt to aggregate, validate, transform and enrich data

• Expertise in cloud-based data warehouses like Google BigQuery

• Eye for detecting patterns in large scale data

• Fluency in English verbal and written skills

• Bonus when you have experience with:

  • Experience with building dashboards and alerts on real time data

  • Knowledge of frontend application (HTTP) data shapes and behaviors

  • Using Javascript for event enrichment and experience
