Job Description

About the role:

You focus on enabling the continued digital transformation and digitization of End-To-End (E2E) Master Data Management processes at Takeda's largest manufacturing site in Vienna. We are looking to you to hold the map for the Supply Chain Organization’s digital Master Data journey and set an example in continuous improvement. Within Takeda locally and globally, the resources, possibilities and ongoing initiatives for digital innovation are many and your position will be one of the main engines for taking the Master Data Management Team to the next level.

How you will contribute:
  • You are the main driver within the Master Data Management (MDM) Team for both local and global digitalization projects and by that help improve process efficiency and transform our ways of working.

  • You represent the MDM perspective in global communities of practice and foster alliances with Data & Digital leads/experts to find opportunities, leverage expertise, and create sustainable digital change within the MDM Team.

  • You are a Master Data Owner and manage material data (Items & Bills of Materials) in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to ensure availability of high-quality, accurate, and reliable data for the E2E planning, manufacturing and inventory processes at the Takeda in Vienna.

  • You will analyze and continuously improve E2E Master Data business processes, for the sake of simplifying tasks and meeting our value creation targets especially through digital/automated solutions (e.g. Robotic Process Automation - RPA, automated electronic workflows, dashboarding, etc.).

  • You will create visual tools/dashboards to reduce complexity, increase data integration and help the team to quickly have relevant information on hand. You support your colleagues with the use of potential new features of our system landscape.

  • You will play an important role in our internal Supply Chain Vienna Data Champions Program and Improvement Team. Additionally, you contribute to growing the SAP-maturity within the MDM Team and the Supply Chain Organization.

What you bring to Takeda:

Your contribution to the Master Data Management Team will be an essential one on our digital journey and with the following skills and references you will be well equipped for your new challenge:

  • Educational/professional background: you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics/Information Technology (IT)/Supply Chain with numerous IT-modules/Computer Science/Engineering or have significant professional experience in the manufacturing industry (e.g., automotive/food/pharma) and/or IT/IT consulting.

  • System/application knowledge: you are experienced in working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, and/or Oracle JD Edwards), Master Data Governance systems (e.g. SAP MDG), MS-Office 365 suite (Excel, Power Platform).

  • Affinity to work with data: you are used to work with large sets of data (data warehousing) and enjoy focusing on database management, information systems and data analysis by applying Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, QLIK Sense, SAP Business Object). Experience with Dimensional Data Modelling (DDM), Databricks, programming skills (SQL, Python, Java) is an advantage.

  • Project experience: you have proven expertise in enabling, executing, or leading digital transformation projects. Translating business requirements into technical requirements which other stakeholders in software development projects understand is something you are good in. Certification in agile project management (SCRUM) is an advantage.

  • Life-long-learning/Creativity: you have huge interest in digital technologies and a mindset which is eager to continuously learn new things and come up with creative solutions. You are aware of digital trends and evaluate the feasibility/use of those trends within the MDM Team.

  • Strong communication skills: you communicate proactively and have strong presentation skills as well as assertiveness on a local and global level. Due to your high level of emotional intelligence, excellent teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills, you can communicate complex ideas/processes in an easy-to-understand way to non-technical stakeholders, anticipate potential objections and persuade others, to adopt different points of views.

  • Personality: your resilience when working under time pressure and your ability to prioritize appropriately help you achieve your goals. Passion and a good sense of humor will help you blend with our culture and motivate our stakeholders. Finally, you appreciate fostering a culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

What Takeda can offer you:

A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 4.157,14 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
