This is what you will do:

As an Associate Director of Insights & Analytics, you will play a critical role in our IT leadership team. You will be shaping the analytics strategy that supports our business objectives, championing the development and implementation of innovative analytics solutions. Your advanced expertise in Analytics and Data Science will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying production-grade analytics solutions at scale. Your strategic insights will drive value from our data, influencing business decision-making, and contributing to the company's growth and optimization.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading delivery teams to identify, prioritize, and solve complex business problems using advanced analytics techniques
  • Architecting and designing sophisticated analytics solutions that meet business requirements, aligning with the overall strategic goals of the company
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders and senior management, providing strategic updates on the progress of analytics projects and their impact on business objectives
  • Staying at the forefront of new technologies, introducing and training team members on these technologies, and incorporating them into the strategic analytics plan
  • Evolving the analytical platforms, tools, and methods used within the organization to continuously enhance analytical capabilities
  • Providing high-quality, strategic solutions and responses to ad-hoc analytic requests
  • Participating and providing technical leadership in all phases of a project from discovery and planning through implementation and delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

You will need to have:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in developing and deploying analytics solutions in production environments
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution of analytics initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage and lead delivery teams effectively, with experience in leading technical teams and individuals across geographies
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and management, including the ability to effectively communicate and align strategy with stakeholders and senior management
  • Experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building, and implementing models, using/creating algorithms (forecasting, classification, clustering, decision tree learning, NLP, graph networks, etc), and creating/running simulations
  • Experience in querying databases and using statistical computer languages, such as Python and R, to manipulate and draw insights from large data sets
  • Experience with generative AI techniques in addition to traditional AI and ML methodologies
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Deep understanding of development best practices and agile methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

We would prefer for you to have:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related fields
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of data science techniques and tools, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning
  • Experience using web services and pre-built Data Lake architectures
  • Experience building collaborative environments optimized for data scientists with elastic compute configurations, and a focus on enabling reproducible research and markdown
  • Experience with serverless architectures, Kubernetes, Docker/containerization, and model upkeep and maintenanc
