Job Title: Digital Solutions Data Engineers

Job Location: 400 Summit Drive, Burlington, MA 01803 (Telecommuting is available).

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

The Digital Solutions Data Engineer will develop cutting-edge big data solutions to streamline operations and provide the highest levels of quality to our customers in the semiconductor

industry. Specific duties include:

  1. Design and deliver digital solutions using big data tools to help groups including Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations improve manufacturing planning, logistics, process monitoring and control, and root-cause investigations;
  2. Develop robust, automated end-to-end data pipelines to feed downstream analytics and data science use cases;
  3. Collaborate with operational teams to understand and prioritize user requirements;
  4. Formulate clear development roadmaps, perform testing and validation, and deploy digital solutions aimed at improving quality, increasing labor efficiency, and/or maximizing production capacity;
  5. Own and improve existing data solutions, and act as the technical point of contact for users; and
  6. Manage change control processes and communication with local business groups impacted by solutions to ensure alignment between all parties and proper documentation.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Employer requires a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field and three (3) years of work experience as a

software developer, data engineer, or related occupation working across the entire software development life cycle. In addition, employer requires:

  1. Demonstrated ability designing and delivering digital solutions using big data tools such as Palantir Foundry to help improve manufacturing planning, logistics, process monitoring and control, and root-cause investigations gained through three (3) years of work experience;
  2. Demonstrated ability developing robust, automated end-to-end data pipelines to feed downstream analytics and data science use cases gained through three (3) years of work experience;
  3. Demonstrated ability collaborating with operational teams to understand and prioritize user requirements gained through three (3) years of work experience;
  4. Demonstrated ability formulating clear development roadmaps, performing testing and validation, and deploying digital solutions aimed at improving quality, increasing labor efficiency, and/or maximizing production capacity gained through three (3) years of work experience;
  5. Demonstrated ability owning and improving existing data solutions and acting as the technical point of contact for users gained through three (3) years of work experience; and
  6. Demonstrated ability managing change control processes and communication with local business groups impacted by solutions to ensure alignment between all parties gained through three (3) years of work experience.

 

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.

 

Approximately 8% domestic and 2% international travel required per year.
