Workrise is hiring a Senior Data Analytics Manager that will be responsible for leading and growing our team of highly skilled Data Analysts. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has experience managing teams of analysts, can explain complex analysis to many different audiences, has experience partnering with people across the company as part of their daily work, and is looking to build long-term data infrastructure and analysis. This role will be exempt and will report to the Director of Data & Analytics.

We do this through utilizing a modern, cloud-first data stack for everything from data ingestion to visualization.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coaching, developing and leading a team of Data Analysts working on projects that span the entire organization from Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product/Engineering
- Partner with people across the business to understand Data & Analytics needs, and business insights in order to help day to day decision making and drive prioritization for your team’s work and influencing the Data Platform roadmap
- Actively working with leaders across the organization to utilize data to identify areas of risk, opportunities, and drive prioritization for their team’s efforts
- Establishing and maintaining an efficient team delivery process that balances long term analytics projects, ad-hoc requests, and technical infrastructure investments
- Participating in recruiting both to fill positions on your team, and also assisting in filling open headcount across Workrise.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- BS degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in Data & Analytics roles
- 3+ years of experience managing a large or multiple teams
- Experience with helping companies and teams fulfill the transition to being data driven
- Expertise with at least one data visualization tool, order of preference: Tableau, PowerBI
- Experience with cloud data infrastructure and building things in a repeatable, scalable way (ie. Snowflake, Tableau Server, Databricks, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to level the conversation to audiences with different technical backgrounds and build strong relationships across departments
- Proven track record of active coaching and mentorship of leading them to further their career and improve their skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies: Kanban, Scrum, XP
- Plus for experience with advanced analytics techniques like building predictive models
- Plus for experience utilizing and publishing work with python notebooking tools (ie. Hex, Jupyter Notebook, etc.)
