Job Description

• Positions: Data Engineer

  Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic and fast‐paced team.  

• Experience:5-8 Years

• The ideal candidate should possess exceptional problem‐solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

   The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our business operations and decision‐making processes.

  Job Responsibilities:

   Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and Python.

   Optimize and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing workflows for performance and scalability.

   Develop and maintain data models to support business requirements and data analysis.

   Collaborate with business users to understand data needs and design efficient data solutions.

   Implement data governance policies and ensure data integrity and quality.

   Automate data processes and workflows using PowerShell and other scripting languages.

   Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, resolving any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.

   Work closely with the infrastructure team to optimize data storage, data processing, and data transfer in the Azure Cloud environment. Required Qualifications:

   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

   Strong programming and performance tuning skills in SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and Python.

   Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with designing efficient data models.

   Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques for data processing and storage.

   Familiarity with Azure Cloud services and technologies.

   Knowledge of Git version control system.

   Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills.

   Strong communication and collaboration skills.

   Ability to work in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred:

   Experience in the structured finance space specializing in residential mortgages.

   Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.

   Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

   Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.

   Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
