Business Intelligence Developer

Position Details: Term: Direct Hire/perm with our client in the Insurance industry
Location: Hybrid 4 days onsite in Stamford, CT - 1 day remote 
Hours: Day shift - Mon-Friday 8-5pm ET

• Develop and support Business Intelligence Solutions to support business operations at BRAM
• Collect and maintain business intelligence requirements.
• Develop and implement Business Intelligence Solutions using Microsoft technology stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI etc.,).
• Able to communicate with end users and technical teams to understand business requirements.

What you'll bring to the table: 

• Four-year undergraduate degree (minimum) 
• 2+ years working in insurance or reinsurance related IT occupation.
• 2+ years development experience using Microsoft Technology Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI etc.,)
• Thorough knowledge of SQL server and Transact SQL.
• Understand data modeling, data schemas, (normalization, denormalization, flat, star, snowflake, etc.)
• Knowledgeable regarding query performance and query optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions is an added plus.
