If you’re interested in solving challenges through IT and data solutions, we have the role for you. You will undertake a Level 4 , 6 or 7 Apprenticeship in a related field to data / business analysts (dependant on candidate's current skills and qualifications). Based at our offices on the Sheffield Business Park, this varied role will support the HR department as they embark on a digitalization journey. You will play your part in that journey through ownning and supporting the following areas:
Contributing to Data Dashboards and Reports:
- Assist in creating and maintaining data dashboards and reports.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data presented.
Data Analysis:
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends and insights.
Data Management:
- Support deployment and usage of data analysis tools and software.
- Document data processes and procedures for clarity and consistency.
Automation and efficiency:
- Devise and implement new solutions to automate and optimise our business processes using SharePoint and other Microsoft functions
Collaboration and Training:
- Assist colleagues with data-related queries and provide training on data tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members on various data projects and initiatives.
You will also be included in our internal development programme, giving you access to further training and mentoring.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Maths and English at Grade C, 4 or above AND one of the following:
- 96 UCAS points from three A levels (we accept General Studies)
- 112 UCAS points with at least 64 from two A levels or equivalent BTEC/T level
- Access to HE Diploma with at least 45 credits at level 3 and 15 credits at level 2
- A completed level 3 apprenticeship
- Demonstrated interest in data analysis (through formal studies, self-study, or work experience)
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Some familiarity with data tools (such as SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau) is advantageous but not essential.
