Job Description
Within Ubisoft’s business entity, you will join the Audience Analytics team, whose missions aim to understand, describe, and model player behavior within Ubisoft titles from various perspectives. As part of our missions, we pay close attention to analyzing the entire database and supporting our partners through a very granular view of player behavior within our titles, our brands, or the entire Ubisoft gaming ecosystem. We work closely with many internal stakeholders: production studios, CRM, media, brand, research teams, etc.
The Senior Data Analyst, Audience Analytics, will be responsible for analyzing the consumer base across a portfolio of titles, in direct contact with various business entities, to provide a granular view of player behavior and deliver strategic recommendations to different teams. Their mission is to collect and transcribe business needs into analytical topics and support stakeholders throughout the resolution of the topic, using advanced data analysis and modeling techniques.
What you will do:
- Create and provide analyses using the following tools: Python, SQL, Tableau
- Analyze consumer data, share knowledge and added value to aid decision-making
- Create and maintain standard Ubisoft/brand/game audiences
- Identify discriminating metrics to create audiences, track their evolution and business impact
- Create consumer segments and analyze their behavior
- Build tailored visualizations to communicate the insights from your analyses
- Gather business needs and translate them into analytical projects
- Be the main point of contact for partners; understand the brand, its context, and marketing objectives and initiatives; identify the most relevant approach to meet the need; present the data; organize meetings and coordinate different stakeholders (finance, research department, marketing)
- Work closely with CRM and media teams, understand their technical environment, and propose the most suitable approach to their constraints
- Provide strategic recommendations to partners.
Qualifications
- Experience in quantitative and statistical analysis - a strong knowledge of clustering methods is expected
- Knowledge of tools: Python, SQL, Tableau, R
- Analytical and synthesis skills; ability to analyze the initial data, draw conclusions leading to strategic recommendations
- Be proactive and creative with data
- Excellent oral and written communication
