SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Be a central part of the digital transformation in Fouling Protection research and development, moving from relying only on knowledge to using evidence-based insights as well. This involves creating methods for gathering data, storing it, and analyzing it in depth.

Responsibilities:

  • Support to bridge the gap between paint formulations and development and performance through the use of digital tools and data analysis.
  • Define and implement solutions for relevant data capture and integrations related to understanding product performance.
  • Represent R&D Fouling Protection in the general digitalisation of R&D such as Nexus and related initiatives/projects.
  • Support developing relevant applications/technologies required to scale up for example Hullkeeper and HSS.
  • Work together with senior experts in R&D for the subject specific expertise required.

Qualifications

  • Master degree within a technical field. Relevant experience and background can compensate for formal education.
  • At least 5 years experience with data analysis and/or product development.
  • Experience from laboratory work and Software Programming is valued.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal qualities and cultural awareness.
  • Experience in cross-functional and cross-regional team collaborations.
  • Focused on self-development
  • Fluent in English, with other language skills being beneficial.
  • Skilled in and used to commonly used Microsoft applications such as TEAMS, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint an Power BI. Additional IT skills are beneficial.
