RESPONSIBILITIES

Our mission in the Data Driven Business Steering Team is to unlock the business value of data using our team’s deep expertise in data science and artificial intelligence.

• In your new role, you develop new use cases for data science and analytics to facilitate the transition of our unit into a data-driven organization.
• You identify relevant internal and external data sources and assess data quality and provide support to other teams in the area of commercial excellence, such as pricing and customer-centricity, regarding data and data-related topics.
• You are responsible for implementing an ongoing support system for maintenance and improvement of analytics.
• Furthermore you collaborate closely with the Global Agricultural IT team to ensure that APE data science and analytics receive the necessary platform and data support.
• Last but not least you participate in and contribute to the Global Agricultural Commercial Excellence Data Science community.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics or a similar quantitative degree
• professional experience in developing machine learning applications in a business context in a scalable manner
• excellent knowledge in Python for data science and  familarity with Azure databricks is a plus
• familiar with large language models and use of generative AI in a commercial context 
• flexibility and motivation to work as a part of a agile team
