The Opportunity at Komodo Health...

The mission of the Senior Product Manager (Data Integration Platform) is to lead product development for Komodo’s developer and data scientist centric data integration and data pipeline platform that provide customers and partners with comprehensive solutions including integration tools, connectors, SDKs and APIs to ingest and manipulate customer data to enhance critical analytical and machine learning based applications for health data. 

The Komodo platform powers all of Komodo’s current and future analytical and machine learning applications and enables 3rd party builders to integrate with, extend, customize, or build on the platform.

Reporting to the Head of Platform Product Management the Senior Product Manager will work closely with data science, engineering, product, customers and key stakeholders to align the product team to build products that build category leadership.

Looking back in your first 12 months at Komodo, you will have...

  • Owned the strategy and vision for critical aspects of the Komodo data integration and data pipeline platform to integrate with enterprise applications and data ecosystems.
  • Defined an outcome-driven, measurable product roadmap by prioritizing across company business goals, data and engineering constraints, market evolution and customer requirements, spanning from smaller features to market-shaping bets
  • Connected analytic and machine learning problems to client problems to drive prioritization of roadmap and value based pricing frameworks 
  • Collaborated with product marketing, customer success, sales and operations to develop effective go to market plans and appropriate training and processes for feature launches and feature scalability
  • Refined and improved product management processes within the group of PMs
  • Assessed Make vs Buy options to accelerate platform capabilities delivery and go to market.
  • Defined, measured and improved optimal product documentation and support models for platform / developer products

What you bring to Komodo...

  • Seasoned platform product manager, with experience building and launching complex data pipelines or data integration frameworks for machine learning or analytical  products
  • Extensive knowledge of data extraction, data mapping, data wrangling, data processing and data ingestion concepts and processes
  • Familiarity with modern analytics, data, ETL and integration tools such as Apache Iceberg, Apache FEAST, Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku, Looker, Tableau, Mulesoft, Informatica etc.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms and critical components like S3, RDS, Kafka, Airflow
  • Experience working in agile / scrum teams with engineering to ship features and products
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with ability to bring clarity to complexity and communicate customer needs, architectural requirements, and product goals across cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to ruthlessly prioritize between what we could do vs what we should do
  • Experience as a leader with proven ability to collaborate and influence others in a highly cross-matrixed environment
  • Unparalleled ability to balance zooming out to see the big picture, and zooming in to roll up the sleeves and deliver flawless execution
  • A thirst for knowledge, willingness to learn and a growth-oriented mindset
  • Experience working in the life sciences or healthcare space a plus, but not required
  • Balanced competencies of technical acumen and business decision-making

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
