IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Data Quality Lead to support our DHS /USCIS customer. As the Data Quality Lead, you will be responsible for leading the overall efforts to strategically mature data quality and integrity across the Agency by recommending, developing, and presenting on activities and deliverables to help enhance enterprise data quality and integrity to support improved sharing, decision-making, and reporting on mission operations. 

Location: This position can be performed in a remote setting with EST working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing customer experience and engagement to build and support a more robust, trusting, and collaborative relationships across the enterprise that will support proactive data integrity and encourage timely identification and resolution of data issues. 
  • Partner closely with data creators, data stewards, data consumers, and IT to ensure data is usable, timely, robust, trustworthy, and compliant.  
  • Support global and regional data owners, data stewards and SME's for data standardization, cleansing, and data migration activities. 
  • Align Data Quality rules and policies to evolving data landscape and domains.
  • Leverage data quality best practices to design and maintain policies, methodologies, guidelines around data quality, data profiling, data cleansing, including KPI/metrics definitions.
  • Collaborate and support stakeholders responsible to implement relevant data quality rules and policies and ensure those rules and policies are implemented. 
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage governance tool to track and manage data quality and compliance, support reconciliation and validation processes.  
  • Collaborate with business users to identify attributes that require data quality and corresponding business rules. Profile data, analyze user requirements, and translate & apply business rules to data quality rules. 

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen  
  • A bachelor's degree in related field  
  • Must have active PMP OR at least ten (10) years project management experience 
  • At least five (5) years of experience with the strategic implementation of enterprise data quality and integrity program(s) 
  • Strong customer orientation, and conflict resolution skills 
  • Experience in performing root cause analysis on data quality issues. 
  • Experience with data integration and data profiling tools, automation of processes 
  • Experience working with DHS 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred:

  • Experience leading data quality and integrity programs at DHS 

Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a USCIS clearance- Public Trust process
