The Role

Advisor - DevOps Engineer (GDC)
• 5+ years of solid infrastructure administration experience, designing and implementing virtualization and highly automated CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps setting.
• Expert-level experience in automating CI/CD pipelines with scripts and managing releases using the following tools.
• Experience with build scripts using tools such as Maven and Gradle.
• Experience with DevOps pipeline tools – Jenkins, GitLab. Skilled in the use of Jenkins API and plug-ins.
• Experience with Image Registry for Operating System and Container Images – jFrog Artifactory.
• Experience with Source Control Management tools – GitLab and BitBucket.
• Experience in supporting software development CI/CD pipelines with multi-stage automated testing in a modern, containerized Kubernetes environment.
• Strong experience with Python, Bash, and automation tools such as Ansible and Helm.
• Initiative to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results without supervision.
• Broad experience in DevOps best practices with on-prem and cloud.
• Passionate operational mindset with hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting systems.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Knowledge of hardware like servers, switches, and SAN storage.
• Experience with Kubernetes and micro-services design and deployment.
• Experience as a Linux systems administrator, preferably with Oracle Linux and CentOS.
• Experience with metric monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• As a DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining highly automated CI/CD pipelines that support our software development processes.
• Work closely with software development teams to ensure efficient and consistent integration and deployment of our products.
• Maintain high availability and performance of the systems.
• Continually improve productivity, reliability, and maintainability to ensure seamless software delivery.
• Maintain a deep understanding of containerized environments and orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the software development lifecycle are supported by efficient DevOps practices.
• Manage source control systems including GitLab and BitBucket, ensuring best practices in version control are followed.
