JOB POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our AI/Natural Language Processing team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and a strong understanding of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. They should have experience working with large datasets and a willingness to explore new technologies and methods. They should work on areas to create high quality synthetic data and build cutting edge deep learning models to unlock healthcare data via generative AI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- You are an expert programmer having ML and data processing experience.
- You will work closely with the AI/ML engineers and data scientists and product teams to acquire and process data, debug, create and improve ML models, to help with ML-centric quality assurance and to develop software infrastructure to assist the above tasks.
- You will work with a variety of data types, including structured, semi-structured, and textual data. You will create enterprise-grade data pipelines that feed state of the art AI/ML models.
- You will possess strong communication skills and collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, production teams, and customers.
- We need independent thinkers who can operate with minimal guidance from product managers and Tower Leaders.
- We would like you to embrace complex problems and provide thoughtful intelligence-based solutions. Your technical capability to understand the product in a short time and adapt to changing circumstances will be well received
QUALIFICATION
- MS Degree or higher in Computer Science, data science, machine learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or similar
- Relevant experience of total 10 to 15 years of experience in AI, NLP. Machine learning and Deep learning or Computer Vision
EXPERIENCE
- Deep technical background in applied machine learning, LLMs, including deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and data engineering
- Experience in architecting & developing large enterprise scale distributed, high performance processing platforms (data scraping, extraction, cleaning, normalization, ground-truth creation)
- Experience in implementing and deploying AI/ML/NLP solutions.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience in AWS Sage maker, Glue, EMR, EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3.
- Good understanding of Agile Delivery Methodology
- Experience with GitLab/BitBucket based version control
- Very strong technical skills with the ability to evaluate key technical proposals and hire and mentor excellent engineers
- Experience through the entire platform development lifecycle, building platforms from the ground up, onboarding stakeholders on the platform as well as supporting successful adoption of products and customers on the platform.
- Excellent presentation skills, sharing technical decisions and discuss complex technical details with cross-functional teams, executives and external partners
- Working knowledge on technologies around persistence, search, graph and distributed technologies
- Familiar with Cloud infrastructure and big data frameworks (Spark)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Healthcare domain knowledge nice to have.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Hands-on experience working on Large Language Models (LLM) and generative AI is preferred. You have developed LLM from data collection to deployment. Preferably you have contributed to LLM related publications or open source projects.
- Experience developing generative machine learning systems such as those for synthesizing photos, videos, text, or similar data.
- Deep experience with NLP/LLM techniques such as ChatGPT, FLAN, Transformers, LSTM, GANs, CNNs, Graph Neural Networks, or other deep gradient based methods
- Worked with at least one mainstream machine learning frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spacy, HuggingFace, OpenCV, Fairlearn, MLFlow, etc
- Good to have experience in AI/ML frameworks to depict interpretability of models using libraries like DeepLift, Lime, QII, Shapley, etc.
- Experience in machine learning, supervised and unsupervised: Forecasting, Classification, Data/Text Mining, NLP, Decision Trees, Adaptive Decision Algorithms, Random Forest, Search Algorithms, Neural Networks, Deep Learning Algorithms.
- Strong hands-on skills in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large volumes of data using distributed computing platform
- Good to have experience working with modern tools for big data processing and scalable machine learning (e.g., AWS, GCP, Kafka, Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL), Kubernetes and dockers
- Hands on experience with any of the Industry Leading Cloud AI Platforms for large scale deployments in enterprise class AI Platforms space. GCP AI Cloud, MS Open AI Cloud or AWS Cloud AI Offerings.
