Senior Quantitative Developer / Senior Quantitative Researcher

Millennium is a top tier global hedge fund with a strong commitment to leveraging innovations in technology and data science to solve complex problems for the business. We are assembling a strong Quant Technology team to build our next generation trading strategy. 

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented person to join our team. 

The candidate will play a significant part in enhancing and maintaining our current systematic investment framework, including:

  • Data Engineering: Building and maintaining Data Pipelines
  • Machine Learning Research/Engineering: Maintenance of Machine Learning Pipeline and Exploring new models
  • Portfolio Construction: Execution Research and Implementation 

Requirements:

  • STEM background
  • High Level (production level) Coding experience in Python and SQL
    • Familiar with version control (github)
    • Experience in cloud (AWS)
    • Best practices methodology regarding how to code, and test changes
  • Experience in quantitative development 
    • Experience with data-pipeline architecture
    • Experience in building and maintaining Machine Learning Models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or PhD in STEM
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience in Asset Management preferably in Equities
  • Knowledge of trading other asset classes, e.g. Options
  • Experience in trading global equities
