Deputy / Assistant Manager Infotech

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

a. Leverage Google Cloud services (such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc) to build and manage data processing systems. Design and implement solutions for data storage, retrieval, and analysis on GCP.
b. Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security. Optimize data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability.
c. Designed and implemented data modelling techniques to improve query performance and optimize storage within Big Query, contributing to cost-efficiency and enhanced data retrieval speed.
d. Understand ML concepts, including feature engineering, model training, and evaluation. Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models into data pipelines.
e. Utilize Bitbucket for version control, collaboration, and code management. Maintain code repositories, manage branches, and ensure smooth development workflows.
f. Write efficient and maintainable Python code for data processing, transformation, and automation. Familiarity with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn is essential.

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

BE-Tech (Computer Science)/MCA, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Associate Cloud Certification 

General Experience

3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and cloud development

Critical Experience

a. Experience in using GCP services and tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Dataproc, or Cloud Composer.
b.  Proficient in using services such as Cloud Function, Dataflow, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Logging, and Cloud SQL to build scalable and efficient data solutions
c. Knowledge of cloud development and DevSecOps practices such as CI/CD, testing, monitoring, logging, and security.
d. Proficiency in ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and tools for data integration and transformation.
e. Strong coding skills in Python.
f. Familiarity with Bitbucket for version control.
g. Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts.
