Become a Data Analytics Manager on our Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Remediations & Corrections data analytics team that supports Auto Finance, Business Banking, Consumer Banking, Credit Card, and Wealth Management. As a Data Analytics Manager in our Corrections and Remediations Team, you will manage the process to triage, fix, correct, and eliminate customer impact caused by business process and/or operational issues. You will play a critical role within Corrections and Remediations, managing/directing a team of data analysts domestically and offshore to work with the business and correction partners to understand the issue, interpret the requirements, determine the coding steps, identify the impacted universe by translating the requirements into code, calculate the financial impact (where appropriate), validate the results, and aid in execution. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure LOB case load management, including optimizing resource management and efficient DA case assignments 
  • Ensure analysts are following procedures and correctly documenting through the process 
  • Manage case progression while ensuring analysts have researched and are prepared for case kickoffs and ready with clarifying questions  
  • Ensure cases are worked with utmost accuracy and urgency 
  • Monitor case progression to ensure any latency is addressed quickly (unclear requirements, new analyst learning curve, missing data, etc) 
  • Review case detail to ensure coding is accurate and approach is correct and not overengineered 
  • Actively work to remove obstacles from case management (Simplify approach, Follow up on requirement clarifications, Research missing data needs, Analyst reassignment
  • Partner with Corrections Project Management/Business Analyst teams 
  • Effectively communicate case timelines and provide constant feedback for date movements as well as articulate obstacles, workarounds, and impacts to timing 
  • Consistently hiring new analyst talent to offset any attrition and ensure team is getting appropriate training and that the team is getting up to speed as fast as possible  
  • Ensure training is in line to mitigate issues found in testing and address any findings from QA/QR reviews with a plan to mitigate future findings 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 + years of extensive Data Analytics background
  • Advanced SQL, PLSQL, SAS experience 
  • Elevated proficiency with standard MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) 
  • Ability to research data structure using front-end systems
  • Proven data miner / Ability to research data structure using front-end systems 
  • Experience in relationalizing data from varying database/flat file datasets (Oracle, Teradata, SAS, delimited files, etc) 
  • Project Management Acumen
  • Experience working on multiple projects at once
  • Experience redefining unclear project requirements
  • Proven Business Partner with strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must be detailed and quality assurance oriented 

Preferred Skills 

  • Corrections and Remediations management experience 
  • Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related subject preferred 
  • Detailed JPMC product, data table, and/or structure knowledge preferred 
  • Understanding of the data infrastructure in a financial services organization
