Assistant Data Analyst

Role description:

• Maintain cost data base  
• Document current market data and report
• Propose improved strategies within the business units
• Support the Digital Transformation team in bids
• Pursuit development of the internal analytics capability
• Work with the team on data models and create an efficient data pipeline

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree holder in Programming, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Business or Data Analysis and/or a related field or a professional designation
• 1-3 years experience in data management industry
• Strong Knowledge on data management, data preparation (Eg. SQL) and data product development
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel for analysis and presentation of data and statistics
• Strong knowledge on statistical, data modelling, data science, machine learning, and analytics techniques
• Strong knowledge on data visualization using Tableau or similar visualization tools (Power BI or Qlikview, Alteryx etc)
• Proficient in Python or other programming languages
• Familiar with cloud enviornment (eg. GCP, AWS, MS Azure)
• Result oriented and able to deliver under pressure
• Excellent reporting and organizational skills 
• Understand cleaning and transforming complex data sets
• Excellent communication skills including written and spoken English
