Data and Analytics Literacy Manager - Your future role?

As the Data and Analytics Literacy Manager in Argenteuil, you will lead the efforts to raise our overall level of data and analytics literacy and foster a data-driven culture, to support delivering measurable results.

You will report to the Head of Data & Analytics.

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Contribution to data and analytics strategy for data & analytics literacy program

  • Define the data and analytics literacy program across Givaudan

  • Identify the personas and create a persona-based data & analytics literacy roadmap

  • Resource management within data & analytics literacy team

  • End-to-end delivery of the data & analytics literacy program

 

Strategy

  • Define data & analytics literacy program vision & roadmap

  • Identify the personas across Givaudan for data & analytics literacy

  • Collaborate with Digital solution teams, D&A Leadership Team and main partners to shape a tailored data and analytics literacy

  • program for Givaudan

  • Align data and analytics literacy program with business strategy and outcomes

 

Leadership

  • Create and manages data & analytics literacy program vision & roadmap, training, communications and marketing

  • Provide content leadership on multiple data and analytics literacy topics across Givaudan

  • Tailor data & analytics program to needs of the different personas across Givaudan

  • Establish a community of data & analytics practitioners together with data & analytics product line managers and product managers

  • Promote the importance of data & analytics literacy

 

Key Activities

  • Identify data's value by promoting the tangible and intangible value of our information assets, using specific examples from Givaudan or other industries.

  • Create business case to secure funding and resourcing for data literacy and data-driven culture change by selling the desired business change of data and analytics (D&A).

  • Communicate aspirational and inspirational SMART (specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, time-bound) benefits of data & analytics literacy and data-driven culture for both us as a whole and for individual partners.

  • Conduct general high-level awareness and communication campaigns to raise overall basic understanding of the importance and value of data throughout the organization, for workers who may not even realize that they are information workers by developing narratives of "good" and "bad" data literacy behaviors — familiarity and recognition.

  • Educate partners by designing specific and targeted data literacy training in the capabilities that the workforce needs to be successful ("skill," relating to aptitude), including and ongoing learning. Implementing targeted education programs for a range of data and analytics skills training, including broader skills in business subject matter knowledge, decision making and data storytelling.

  • Address the cultural aspects of a data-driven approach. Encourage the necessary shift in mindset and behaviors by outlining the intentions, required interactions, impacts arising and necessary involvement from affected partners. ("will," relating to attitude).

  • Deliver the changed business state by participating in building programs of data and analytics, while adapting the messaging for partners according to their cultural readiness to engage.

  • Build and sustain D&A communities of practice by identifying the most effective D&A influencers. Nurture a list of contributors and prioritize individuals based on common influencer marketing criteria and understanding of specific data and analytics initiatives. Increase and sustain community audience engagement by adding structure to influencers' contributions within D&A communities.

  • Assess our data literacy readiness by using skills and training requirements, design upskilling roadmaps, create curriculum and determine training performance metrics.

  • Measure the results of improved data literacy within the workforce by using data literacy assessments and by measuring associated improvements to data-driven results.

 

You have:

  • Master's degree in computer engineering or business school or equivalent

  • 10+ years working in data & analytics arena.

  • 5+ years of experience managing team dynamics, building team relationships, mentoring team members and delivering feedback

  • 5+ years of experience in communication and training in similar roles or either

  • Communications, Marketing, or related fields

  • Experience in product lead organization

  • Experience in technical training, training program development and education

  • Understanding of several data & analytics capabilities, like data management, data architecture, BI, Data governance

  • Exhibited skills in leading efforts involving the coordination of resources and goals across multiple teams

  • Exposure and understanding of our technologies, and processing environments

  • Good understanding of innovation approaches and methodologies (Design Thinking, Design Sprints and UX design)

  • Curious and interested about Digital and Information Technologies

  • Fluent in English
