We are currently seeking a Data Engineer - Elasticsearch/Cassandra to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Responsibilities: 

- SQL (Oracle) and writing complex queries with joins and aggregates

- Build JSP/Servlet based GUIs with JQuery or other JavaScript libraries for dashboard views over reporting databases

- Perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning

- Advanced debugging and troubleshooting tools and techniques

- Provide database programming

- Provide thought leadership in mobile engineering and bring your passion for technology to motivate and inspire on a day-to-day basis

- Review requests for new features or changes to existing features, and proposing solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to standards

Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of the following:

- Hands-on full implementation of Elasticsearch

- Cassandra

- ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) stack

- Core Java and J2EE technologies like, JMS, JSP, Servlets, Struts/Spring, Spring boot; Apache, Confluent, Kafka, Spark

- In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration

- Cloud environment AWS, GCP/ Azure

Nice to Have:

- Solr

Education:

-Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience
