The Team and the opportunity

As part of our Data Analytics and AI team, the Data Visualisation role is pivotal in enabling our clients to derive significant value from their information assets. Through collaboration and domain expertise, our team embeds innovative data analytics solutions into existing business areas, transforming data into strategic assets. We are looking for a Data Visualisation specialist who is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex problems and drive business outcomes.

 

You will play a key role in driving growth by developing new and existing client relationships and delivering first-class customer experience on high-profile engagements.

The Data Analytics and AI team serve as trusted advisors, both practical and innovative, to embed innovative data analytics solutions into existing business areas and transforming data into strategic assets.

As a Senior Consultant, the opportunity to assess and improve our clients’ reporting policies and corporate governance processes will impact these ever-challenging areas during transformational and regulatory changes.  

 

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to enable insights from data, driving decision-making and actions for both internal and client projects.
• Critically review existing data visualizations, whether client-facing or internal, to identify and implement opportunities for improvement, ensuring the highest standards of clarity and effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of data visualization solutions during internal projects and client engagements based on your expertise to facilitate understanding and adoption.
• Utilize advanced data visualization techniques, including spatial data representation, to communicate complex data stories effectively, ensuring they are accessible and actionable for diverse audiences.
• Educate clients, stakeholders, and team members on the benefits of data visualization technologies, advocating for their use to enhance decision-making across a range of projects and industries.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in data visualization, continuously improving personal skills and contributing to the team's knowledge base.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, with a proven track record of creating impactful visual stories from complex datasets.
• Technical Expertise: SQL and/or other DBMS software, n data visualization principles and best practices, with the ability to choose the most effective visual representation for various data types and audiences. • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau, and QlikView, with experience in creating advanced reports and dashboards.
• Foundational Knowledge: A strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and programming is essential for success in this role.
• Communication Skills: The ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and persuasive manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
