We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Cloud team. The successful candidate will be directly involved in developing and leading next-generation cloud services, accelerating the evolution of our solutions for the elderly care market.

What will be your main activities?

• Developing our growing SaaS IoT platform for Vayyar Care products, platforms, and services
• Owning the production environment to enable our growth in the market with respect to scalability and deployment stability
• Investigating and learning new technologies that address customer requirements and exploring the market potential of our cloud solution
• Contributing to and influencing Architecture and Design, in collaboration with cross-functional Vayyar teams
• Creating solutions for our analytics platform and for a variety of partner integrations
• Owning Big Data and AI pipelines for analytics, alerts, and prediction 

Requirements

All you need is:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• 5+ years’ programming experience in backend environments
• Experience of delivering and deploying across managed cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C++ (one or more)
• Expertise with RESTful APIs, services, and cloud development and deployment
• Development experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, and/or IoT solutions
• Outstanding communication skills and collaboration capabilities
• Note: Position is full-time, 100% on site (Yehud\Haifa office)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with deployment tools such as Terraform and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
