The Analytics team collaborates closely with all departments and cross-functional partners (including finance, product, GTM, and engineering) to provide data-driven support and insights. We are seeking someone to play a pivotal role in helping us build an analytics powerhouse here at Bolt, driving data support and analytics initiatives across the company. Your contributions will be critical in shaping our data strategy and empowering all teams with actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Support both product and business analytics initiatives to drive growth and innovation.
  • Build and maintain data analytics pipelines and tables used by various teams at Bolt.
  • Apply statistical analysis and creativity to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Collaborate with other teams at Bolt to support their analytics needs and enhance overall business performance.
  • Analyze data for our products to gather insights that improve our offerings.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor the health of our business.
  • Lead the development of reporting tools and frameworks to streamline data access and visualization.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses on customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive business strategy.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data validation and quality checks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing decision-making processes.

About you

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Strong communication skills in a cross-functional team
  • Passion for improving e-commerce businesses
  • Self-starter, able to own tasks with ambiguity
  • High proficiency in SQL
  • High proficiency in a BI tool (i.e., Tableau)
  • Experience working with DBT, Github, and datawarehouse (BigQuery/Snowflake)
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques is a plus
  • Experience with Python, R, Java, or Scala is a plus
  • Good understanding of statistical inference, predictive modeling, or causal inference is a plus
