Sr. Analyst, Loan Product

As a Sr. Analyst for Avant’s Loan business, you will leverage analytics and technical skills to solve major business challenges. You will team with enthusiastic colleagues across different functions to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. You will provide management insights that will influence critical business decisions.
 

What you do

• Build and manage relationships with affiliate partners under the direction of the manager

• Uses a data-driven approach to assess channel performance, develops measurement framework & tracks KPIs, and optimizes future campaign tactics

• Leverages key tools and business knowledge to conduct various analyses and identifies patterns in the data; uses data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to develop and maintain data visualizations

• Turns data and analysis into actionable insights and communicates findings for better understanding and buy-in

• Independently work on analytical projects involving large amounts of data

• Perform and communicate analyses to stakeholders to guide decision-making

• Coordinate and assist in the analysis design, and optimize existing analytical process to improve efficiency and effectiveness

• Work across an interdisciplinary team to prioritize and coordinate tasks, monitor progress and issues, and facilitate team meetings

• Translate and summarize technical and analytical information for business audiences and develop stories that help address business problems

• Creates and maintains recurring marketing reports as well as ad hoc analysis

Why you're a fit

• Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in business analytics, operations, or related role; prior experience within life science or technology industries is a plus but not required

• The minimum education level required is a Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred.

• Acceptable fields of study: Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Operations Research, Mathematics or related fields

• Familiarity with analytics concepts such as databases, programming, statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization

• Advanced skills in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word as well as the Google Productivity Suite (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs)

• Experience with SQL or Python. Experience with data visualization tool such as Looker

• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle and execute complex projects in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision and successfully meet established deadlines

• Exceptional attention to detail and organization

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• A self-starter who is result-focused and driven
