Senior Manager - Data & Analytics (Azure Data Factory/Data Lake)

What we’re looking for:

We are establishing a new IT leadership team in Hyderabad. We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Data & Analytics with a specialization in Azure technologies to lead and mentor a global team of highly skilled technology professionals focused on maintaining a scalable, efficient, and secure corporate data warehouse. This Senior Manager will play a critical role in collaborating with business stakeholders and other technical teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background progressively moving into technical project leadership, data conversions and system consolidations, ETL workflows/pipelines, and will be knowledgeable of emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and analytics.

What you will do:

• Work closely with cross-functional leaders in Marketing and Sales, Product Management and Operations to define short/long term data strategy and effectively develop and execute on roadmaps and optimize the performance of the data and visualization platforms
• Provide strong technical leadership and spearhead all aspects of the development and governance of the corporate data landscape
• Be accountable for SOX and ISO compliance for data applications and processes deemed to be in scope
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and recommend innovative solutions to enhance analytical capabilities
• Operate with a high sense of urgency, accountability and ensure compliance and security
• Lead by example, mentor, coach and motivate the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team, and manage performance; be widely viewed as a strong developer of others
• Be an integral part of the leadership team that will uphold Silicon Labs vision and values

Skills you’ll need:

• Expert-level Azure Data Factory engineering and development skills
• Expert-level familiarity with Azure Data Lake and Azure-hosted databases
• Expert SQL coding skills (T-SQL), including development of complex stored procedures
• Proven experience managing CI/CD processes within a cloud data warehouse environment
• Proven expertise in the broader Azure cloud ecosystem including the ability to deploy and maintain reliably and efficiently on Azure
• Strong troubleshooting skills – especially the ability to identify and resolve processing issues in near real time
• Proven ability to not only directly code, but also to effectively lead a team of developers and analysts in a coordinated manner
• Proven ability to proactively interpret, clarify, and refine business requirements and translate them into technical ETL workflows
• Ability to confidently mentor in Azure Data Factory best practice principles and frameworks
• Solid programming skills in Java, Python, PowerShell, or other equivalent modern programming language
• Experience working with Redgate, Terraform, or equivalent toolsets
• Experience using Tableau as a data visualization and reporting tool
• High level of professionalism, commitment, and leadership

Education and/or Experience:

• 10+ years of experience delivering or supporting data warehouse solutions using any platform or toolset
• 5+ years of experience delivering data warehousing and data integration solutions in the Azure Cloud environment
• Experience with, and a firm understanding of, cloud computing infrastructures and processing models (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Salesforce, et al)
• Experience with Database Administration (SQL Server or Azure SQL Database)
• Experience working in an Azure DevOps agile environment
• Relationship building with internal partners, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience with enterprise IT systems including SAP, Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, Automation Anywhere, Tableau and Azure Data Services
