About the role

We are seeking a seasoned AI Center of Excellence (COE) Lead with extensive experience in Data Science and Solution Architecture, totaling 15+ years in IT, with a specialization in Generative AI and AI/ML. As a technical leader, this person will technically oversee a team of experts, driving the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role will be pivotal in shaping our AI strategy, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Architect, AI CoE,

• Technical Leadership: Lead the COE for Generative AI and AI/ML, providing strategic direction and technical oversight to ensure the successful execution of AI projects from inception to deployment.
• Solution Architecture: Define and document technical architectures, non-functional requirements, and technical solutions for AI/ML initiatives, including RFPs and project proposals from internal teams
• AI Strategy and Innovation: Drive innovation in Generative AI applications, leveraging both open-source and cloud services to create transformative solutions for our clients.
• Responsible AI Implementation: Champion ethical AI practices, implementing frameworks for data and concept drift detection, model interpretability (Explainable AI), and fairness in AI algorithms.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and upskill team members, curating training materials, and conducting technical sessions to foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the COE.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with sales and business development teams to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions during end user engagements.
• AI/IoT Product Development: Lead end-to-end solution design, including the development of new assets, accelerators, and service lines to drive business growth and future-proof our AI capabilities.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics, with a focus on supply chain and operations.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling. Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of convolutional neural networks (CNN) and deep learning techniques for anomaly detection, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks for processing and analysing big data, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Databricks.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying data science solutions in production environments, with a focus on delivering measurable business impact and value.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, software developers, and product managers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for using data-driven approaches to solve complex business problems and drive innovation.
• Experience in IoT product development and edge computing solutions.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices for model monitoring, retraining, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing technical teams.
