CB Data Platform

We are seeking an experience Senior Business Functional Analyst (f/m/x) to join our dynamic team focused on cloud data platform initiative. This role requires an understanding of cloud technologies, enterprise system integrations, and data quality management. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to analyse, design solutions that optimize our cloud data platform and ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Your key responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to gather and document business requirements for cloud data platform projects.

  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and project plans

• Cloud Data Platform Management:

  • Ensure seamless integration of cloud data platform with existing enterprise systems

  • Analyze and recommend cloud data platform solutions to meet business needs.

• Enterprise System Integration:

  • Identify and resolve integration issues to ensure data consistency and reliability

  • Oversee migration from existing on-prem platform to target cloud data platform

• Data Quality Management:

  • Establish and enforce data quality standards and procedures

  • Conduct data quality assessments to identify data inconsistences and gaps

  • Gather requirement and contribute in solutions in identifying data quality issues using modern methods and define a workflow for the exceptions

• Data Catalog and metadata Management:

  • Ensure robust integration with enterprise catalog

  • A solid workflow & lifecycle management around catalog items and lifecycle

• Project Management:

  • Lead project planning, execution and delivery of cloud data platform initiatives

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources

  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management

Your skills and experiences

• Several years of professional and relevant experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data platform and enterprise systems integrations

• Familiarity with data catalog and metadata management practices

• Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices

• Exposure to Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud platform, AWS or Azure

• Strong understanding of data integrations tools and technologies (e.g. data pipeline, API Management)

• Experience with data quality Management tools and techniques

• Experience in writing clear and detailed API specifications

• Able to collaborate with development teams to ensure APIs are implemented correctly and meet business requriements
