Data Engineer - Big Data

We are now hiring for a Data Engineer for our Data Platform team based in Stockholm. This is an opportunity to become part of a skilled team building a real time data platform and scaling it to support Kambi's growing needs. To achieve this the team is developing a new data lake to scale with a variety of constantly growing data points. 

About the Data team:

You will join a team dedicated to solving problems and exploring new technologies together in a DevOps environment. A quick look at our tech stack shows Java, Python, Docker and AWS (EKS, S3, Terraform). As we are a company in transition, with an ongoing AWS cloud migration, we can offer an exciting environment for growth and learning. 

About you: 

We are looking for a Data Engineer to grow our team, with interests in Big Data, CI/CD and AWS. We would like for you to have experience working in an Agile environment. If you have experience with Kafka or Spark that is a great plus, if not, then you will learn on the job with us. Since a large part of the teams work is exploratory, we believe you will thrive in this role if you are solution-oriented and enjoy finding new ways to solve problems in collaboration with the rest of the team.
