ManTech’s Innovation and Capabilities Office is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Strategy and Roadmaps practice focused on Data Analytics and Cloud Engineering.  This position will be a hybrid position requiring onsite support in our Herndon, VA office at a minimum of 3 days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• The Data Scientist will join a team responsible for developing advanced analytics products; applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data to advance and enable the key mission outcomes 

• The Data Scientist will support all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions, through data collection and transformation, from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers 

• This role requires special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-maker s that consume insights 

• Setup data infrastructure to support data mining, LLMs/NLPs for both structured and unstructured data 

• Leverage tools and languages such as Python, SQL, R and Java to build algorithms to support machine learning techniques and apply models to generate predictive analytics 

• Build Visualizations, analyze patterns, trends, and present insights 

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or other relevant field

• Internship experience with focus on Data or relevant field/focus area

• Knowledge of programming languages such as python or STATA

• Quantitative skills such as Web Scraping, Algorithms, Data Analysis and/or econometrics

Clearance Requirements: 

• Must be a US Citizenship and able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance
