As a Solution Specialist specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI), you will be a technical solution expert within our worldwide AI commercial solution area organization working with strategic customers to help establish their AI Strategy, prioritizing key use cases that drive differentiated business outcomes. You will share Microsoft’s AI capabilities, roadmap and envision with customers how AI can transform and drive co-innovation in their business. You collaborate with a team of deep technical experts to build solutions that orchestrate large language models, Azure OpenAI services, vision, speech, machine learning using modern app development principles. You will work closely with customers in workshops to identify and prioritize use cases, design and build rapid prototypes and support minimum viable product (MVP) solution design to production deployment. You will be joining a team of highly skilled experts across the company who are driving some of the most strategic and innovative customer AI projects.
This role sits in our Global Black Belt (GBB) organization, which is a team of highly specialized and technical professionals within our Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions organization (MCAPS) who work with customers to enable some of the most complex and innovative solutions, providing differentiated technical leadership and guidance along the way. The AI team within the GBB organization consists of Specialist and Technology experts, who focus on specific domains, industries, and workloads, such as Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, Application Development and Machine Learning.

Responsibilities
- Win new AI engagements by providing deep solution expertise and business value, delivered via customer workshops (1:1, 1: many) creating commitment for minimum viable products (MVPs). These MVPs enable business and technical decision makers to leverage and build AI powered applications using Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Services including Open AI models, and Azure Applied AI services (60% of your time).
- Increase customer value in targeted accounts, enabling AI engagements by demonstrating technical depth and solution expertise. You will leverage a portfolio of suggested use cases in targeted scenarios, including best practices for industry application, solution value and specialized co-sell solutions, all of which help to accelerate time to market and customer’s digital transformation. (20% of your time).
- Build and Enable solution selling expertise across mainstream sellers, being a trusted coach and model seller, leading with a technical solution sales approach, orchestrating partners, engineering, and championing the voice of customer, partner and field to global stakeholders. (20% of your time).
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Technology-related sales or account management experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience.
- AI Experience: AI (Machine Learning, Intelligent Apps/Agents, Search) selling experience in enterprise public cloud-based solutions.
- The ability to travel to customer sites
- The ability to speak English and German at a professional business level
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise solution selling. This includes stakeholder management, deep solution expertise, building credibility with a technical audience, Cxo communications, solution envisioning, and orchestration of a large, matrixed internal team.
- Experience with building AI and machine learning solutions, Machine Learning Operation frameworks, and leveraging specific machine learning architectures (e.g., deep learning, LSTM, etc.).
- Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems and with machine learning technologies.
- Strong understanding of a typical AI, ML & App dev lifecycle and associated operations (Dev Ops, MLOps) for sustainable enterprise installations of cloud architecture.
- Familiarity with core machine learning concepts (ex: compute systems - GPU & FPGA, frameworks - TensorFlow & PyTorch, tools - Jupyter notebooks & VS Code, MLOps techniques etc.).
- Experience with Responsible AI, in practice or theory.
This role will require travel to customer sites.
