About the team:
The GS/PSD1 (Global Services for Distribution) is globally responsible for warehousing and fine distribution processes. The field of activities includes the whole variety from management of logistic service providers, the design of warehouse managements system solutions, definition of lean and quality standards for warehouses and holistic process optimization. Data analytics is a key factor in this field to drive the improvement processes.

Job Description

► You'll be responsible for data modelling in SQL
► You'll analyze data with Power BI and Python
► You'll be responsible for implementation according to requirement specifications
► You'll be responsible for development of optimization models and visualizations
► You'll support the User Departments with analysis of complex data structures and visualize the insights into data 
► You'll identify optimization potentials in the logistics processes and IT-Systems.
► You'll develop improvements and actively drive their implementation
► You'll be responsible for the creation of ad-hoc analysis for warehousing related topics
► You'll communicate findings to User Departments
► You'll consult the User Department for data analytics and reporting
► You'll be documenting and creating training materials
► You'll provide training for the key user and 1st level support

Qualifications

► Bachelor or Masters in related business technology required (Business information Systems, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain preferred)
► Minimum 2+ years of experience as BI developer / Data analyst is required
► Strong programming skills in SQL – required
► Experienced with Microsoft business intelligence stack – MS SQL , SSIS, SSAS and Power BI – required
► Programming experience in Python is preferred
► Programming experience in C# and web development is plus
► Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
► Dedicated to developing clean and maintainable analysis code and ensuring the correctness of the evaluation results
► Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global environment
► Languages : Fluent verbal and written communication in English. German preferred.
