Research Scientist (Computer Science)

A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Scientist to advance environmental sustainability by designing and conducting research on green premium strategies and recommendation systems, developing data-driven methodologies to encourage sustainable lifestyle choices, optimizing large language models to influence consumer preferences towards sustainable products, and leading the creation and implementation of adaptive, scalable networks to achieve sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and conducting comprehensive research focused on developing green premium strategies and green recommendation systems to enhance environmental benefits.

• Proposing recommendation methodologies that guide users towards more sustainable lifestyle choices by leveraging data analytics and user behavior insights.

• Developing or fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) that are optimized to influence and persuade consumers to prefer environmentally sustainable products.

• Leading the development and implementation of goal-oriented networks aimed at advancing sustainability goals, ensuring that these networks are robust, scalable, and capable of adapting to evolving environmental challenges.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in computer science or related field

• Strong knowledge of deep learning techniques to enhance the precision of nudging consumers towards sustainability.

• Proficient in data analysis, capable of extracting and interpreting complex data sets to improve recommendation algorithms and strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in goal-oriented network development and ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.

• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
