Position Summary

​The eContent & Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring our brand's online portfolio availability, visibility, and product/content integrity across our customer's platforms. To ensure that those online basics are being met, the eContent & Data Specialist is responsible for product data and for managing platforms like GDSN (GS1) or Data Impact by NielsenIQ.

The eContent and Data Specialist delivers reports, produces actionable recommendations, and works continuously with the categories stakeholders (CDT / Marketing) to ensure our brand's online presence and digital shelf basics are state-of-the-art across the most relevant retailers. 

 

A day in the life of...

  • ​Management of product data & content across all platforms and customers:

- Ensure that product information (descriptions, legal info, titles, images) is up to date and correctly implemented across the customers e-commerce platforms, having GDSN (GS1) as a centralized data hub, and managing other ad-hoc product data streams with retail customers.

- Producing periodic "new products" reports, having the GDSN platform as a source.

- Nestlé Online Staff Shop: management of product portfolio info, upload of new products and content through the website backend.

 

  • Tracking and Optimization of the Digital-Shelf Basics (Data Impact setup, monitoring, and reporting):

- Lead the relationship with Data Impact (digital shelf analytics provider) running periodic performance reviews.

- Continuously monitor Data Impact KPI's, including the Digital Shelf Score, and work in close contact with the local Categories teams (eCommerce/CDT/Marketing) to optimize the digital shelf basics - availability, visibility and attractability.

- Feed Data Impact with the correct and most up-to-date product information and inputs (portfolio, product images, keywords…) to ensure platform analysis accuracy and relevance.

               

What will make you successful

 

  • University Degree ideally specialized in Marketing, Public Relations, and/or Computer Science, Maths or any other related fields
  • Previous experience in FMCG e-Commerce highly valued, as well as general Digital Marketing / SEO experience;
  • Strong collaboration skills;
  • Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams (esp. Sales/Marketing);
  • Good communication skills, with high attention to detail;
  • Business oriented and results driven;
  • Ability to grow online sales and market share;
  • Comfortable with analysing data and drawing insights out of it;
