We firmly believe that the decisions to strengthen our business must be built on analytic insights buried in the data. Therefore, we are now looking for a professional who is passionate for the importance of data, have strong personal drive and collaboration skills. You are the one who can bridge business performance with data in terms of data governance and its utilization to drive business insights and informed product decisions. 

The product for analytic insights and data domain is “Frontend”, or Channels, meaning user experiences, behaviours, engagement and performance across Kambi’s and Partner’s web, app, and retail UX channels. 

While it is a data management responsibility we truly believe that closeness to the business context is key to success, so this role will report to the SVP of Content Channels. You will be an integral part of helping Kambi reach the growth targets set up for the coming years by maximizing the value of our data, contributing to raising the data maturity of the business and driving the data governance agenda.

Responsibilities:

  • Govern data throughout its life cycle in terms of definitions, collection, availability, quality, etc.
  • Drive procedures, methodology, culture and change to continuously increase the business value of data
  • Be the data asset expert that guides and advises stakeholders on data usage and interpretation
  • Actively analyse data together with product teams and be a key contributor to the product development itself.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience with data management as a discipline along with exposure to data governance concepts, best practices and tools is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform job responsibilities collaboratively as well as independently, and effectively in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to take ownership and drive implementation of the initiatives powered by data across several departments.
  • Strong stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to meet business needs.

We believe the successful candidate has:

  • 2+ years working in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data-related subject
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical mind and a passion for application of data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with both business and technical minded colleagues
  • Positive attitude towards challenges and proactively solving problems
