Research Associate (Signal Processing)

We invite suitable candidate to join a strong research team in Temasek Laboratories@NTU as a Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in digital signal processing and array signal processing. In particular, signal source separation in single and multi-channels and RF source localization using Time-Difference-of-Arrival (TDOA) and/or Angle-of-Arrival (AOA) with the possible use of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS).

• Conduct both theoretical development of methods and experiment design to validate the developed methods.

• Take charge of other research responsibilities which include co-supervising junior researchers/interns/students, carrying out detailed literature review and assessment of the state-of-the-art technologies. planning and executing detailed R&D activities in order to meet project objectives and deadlines, generating novel scientific or technological concepts for application of breakthrough nature and contributing to research proposals.

• Take charge of administrative responsibilities may include safety, asset management and other aspects related to being a member of Temasek Labs@NTU.

Job Requirements:

• MSc degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Signal Processing) or related area.

• Entry level candidates would be considered.

• Strong background and knowledge in wireless communications and digital signal processing.

• Strong algorithm development and programming skills on MATLAB

• Familiarity with Ettus USRP devices, GNU Radio/Labview programming are plus factors.

• Good publication record.

• Excellent communication skills in English is essential to conduct research.
