• Design and implement robust data pipelines
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data needs
• Apply security best practices to ensure that data is appropriately protected.
• Establish systems for monitoring data quality and generating alerts.
• Build Risk Control dashboards
• Monitor Model
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

• B.S. or advanced degrees in Computer Science or other STEM fields
• 3+ years of experience
• SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Programming using R, Java, Scala and/or Rust
• Source control systems: git, GitHub
• Working with unstructured or semi-structured datasets
• Streaming data systems such as Kafka
• Distributed processing using tools such as Spark and Flink
• Distributed database systems such as CockroachDB
• Distributed caches such as Redis, Memcached, Alluxio
• Data warehouse systems such as Hive
• Analytical SQL query engines such as Presto or Impala
• Column-oriented data formats such as Parquet, ORC
• Automated workflows and CI/CD tools: Airflow, Jenkins, etc.
• Container-based deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Amazon Web Services: S3, EC2, ECR, ELB, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical topics to a non-technical audience
• Team-oriented but able to complete tasks independently at a high standard
• Structured, organized, and detail-oriented
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible
• Fluency in English, both in oral and written form
• Ability to take projects from conceptualization to implementation

Must be able to work onsite in our Salt Lake City office
