Purpose of the role

Provides security data expertise necessary for customer product activations, data updates in production by using Amadeus Administration tools mainly are Amadeus Office Management (AOM), Amadeus Security Management (ASM) and Amadeus Terminal Emulator. Provides operational support to implementations which are received from Internal Amadeus user, airlines, travel seller and business units via standard ordering tool such as Winaproach, OneviewCX, Global Ordering Tool (GOT), MyAccess, etc. Responsible for monitoring and investigations of IR/PTRs and solution findings through data correction, escalation & follow-up.

In this role you'll:

  • Provision security configuration using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.​

  • Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in related subject. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area. ​

  • Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.

  • Become Service Designer on security product to establish and maintain service delivery flow and documentations. Propose an idea for new development to Service Owner, IMP stakeholders and R&D by using methodologies ,e.g. Kanban, Confluence and SharePoint.

About the ideal candidate:

  • A Bachelor Degree in IT or computer science; or relevant work experience

  • Certification on IT Systems, ITIL Foundations or SAFe Certification preferred but not essential

  • Minimum 3 years of experience within an Airline or GDS Help Desk Position; or equivalent related experience with Amadeus Reservations, Fares and Pricing and Ticketing. Good understanding of the Tourism and Travel Business and Amadeus. Understanding of the business impact to clients of incidents.

  • General knowledge of Amadeus fundamentals: history, business, offer, strategy, technology and organization.

  • Working knowledge of Amadeus solutions will be an advantage.

  • Advanced Excel and programing knowledge will be well appreciated 

  • English is mandatory. Other languages will be taken into consideration.

  • Knowledge on Amadeus products and solutions, Incident management, Problem management, Service request management.

  • Good analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and notions on project management.
