As a Junior BI DevOps engineer you will directly impact the cost efficiency and speed of NXP’s New Product Introductions, as you will be responsible for business insights that enable correct R&D business decisions.
Together with data engineers and data scientists, you shape the future of the R&D data analytics. Your solutions delight R&D business with top-notch and fully automated dashboards and reports that allow for self-service business intelligence for its users.
This is what you will do as BI DevOps engineer at NXP
In collaboration with the rest of the hardware design analytics team, you will drive the innovation of the solutions that make up the R&D data analytics products. There is a lot of room for innovative ideas, and through collaboration you achieve your goals.
- You continuously improve the team’s code base and CI/CD pipelines for the various solutions of the hardware design analytics team.
- You develop and maintain automated (ETL/ELT) data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, preparation, and modeling.
- You develop and maintain informative and powerful dashboards & reports for our end-users and gather their feedback for future improvement.

Typically you…
You can describe yourself as follows:
- Minimum qualification: bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer, working in the context of an IT infrastructure organization.
- A love for data and visualizations.
- Comfortable in writing SQL queries and python code.
- Passionate about automation, cloud computing, IaC, DevOps, MLOps, and CI/CD.
- Solution-oriented, hands-on, communicative, customer-centric team player.
- Valuing the importance of working together with others to be successful as a team and as part of a larger organization.

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
